Accumulated in electronic control units so load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system clutch torque, adaptation at limit or change power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage is the final reason of the code. |
28268 Possible Causes:
28268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28268 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
