This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28263 Possible Causes:
28263 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 28263 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
