28263 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reset-resistant limp-mode active retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction or a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
28263 Possible Causes:
28263 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28263 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
