Accumulated in electronic control units so relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift up/down wire, short to b+ or change transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28261 Possible Causes:
28261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28261 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
