The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 15, high circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start system too lean at higher load, bank 2 also exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
28258 Possible Causes:
28258 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28258 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
