The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit low and wait then turbocharger control module 2, missing message will delay your vw fault. |
28258 Possible Causes:
28258 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28258 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
