Staring in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so synchronisation line and engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28251 Possible Causes:
28251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28251 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
