Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 or post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit will delay your vw fault. |
28251 Possible Causes:
28251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28251 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
