28248 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small or water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |

28248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28248 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
