Staring in engine cylinder 8 above knock threshold It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake internal control module, malfunction or change valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
28246 Possible Causes:
28246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28246 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
