28244 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low also o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
28244 Possible Causes:
28244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28244 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
