This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range also mil control circuit, open / short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
28241 Possible Causes:
28241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28241 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
