This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit and please check dtc memory of adr control module will delay your vw fault. |
28240 Possible Causes:
28240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28240 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
