When you open exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+ . So for next camshaft position signal output, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
28238 Possible Causes:
28238 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28238 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
