This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, stuck open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure sensor, circuit also exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28234 Possible Causes:
28234 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28234 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
