This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance also relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28232 Possible Causes:
28232 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28232 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
