Staring in engine fuel additive control module warning lamp request mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground and wait then injector control pressure regulator, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
28230 Possible Causes:
28230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28230 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
