Staring in engine intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28229 Possible Causes:
28229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28229 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
