Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit you can see the secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
28229 Possible Causes:
28229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28229 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
