When you open torque management request input signal a, high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground you can see the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
28222 Possible Causes:
28222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 28222 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
