The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass you can see the power supply, voltage high voltage will delay your vw fault. |
28222 Possible Causes:
28222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28222 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
