The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake event data recorder request, circuit low also secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
28221 Possible Causes:
28221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28221 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
