This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charging system, voltage low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
28221 Possible Causes:
28221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28221 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
