The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open or change ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
28216 Possible Causes:
28216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28216 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger control module 1, missing message
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
