Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low and fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage will delay your vw fault. |
28214 Possible Causes:
28214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28214 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), electrical malfunction in circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
