Staring in engine transmission ratio, implausible mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28208 Possible Causes:
28208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28208 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of clutch ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
