This something to do with the intake camshaft timing barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground . So for next fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
28197 Possible Causes:
28197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28197 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
