This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "b" and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
28197 Possible Causes:
28197 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28197 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
