28193 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low or change starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28193 Possible Causes:
28193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28193 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
