This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption is the final reason of the code. |
28189 Possible Causes:
28189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28189 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 1, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
