Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit also supply voltage for fuel injector group a, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28188 Possible Causes:
28188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
