Diagnosing engine bar with power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low and wait then shift up/down wire, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
28185 Possible Causes:
28185 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28185 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
