Staring in engine combustion detection during deceleration to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance or change bank 1; system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
28181 Possible Causes:
28181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28181 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
