This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module defective or change injection pump, timing calibration not learned will delay your vw fault. |
28179 Possible Causes:
28179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28179 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
