28178 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault torque management feedback signal "a", low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank or post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit is the final reason of the code. |
28178 Possible Causes:
28178 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28178 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
