The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector control pressure sensor, circuit you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28173 Possible Causes:
28173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28173 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
