When you open evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
28170 Possible Causes:
28170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28170 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
