Staring in engine malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system performance malfunction in cooling system also injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
28169 Possible Causes:
28169 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28169 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
