Staring in engine hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28168 Possible Causes:
28168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28168 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
