28168 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air heater "a", circuit open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground or change intake air heater "a", system performance is the final reason of the code. |
28168 Possible Causes:
28168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28168 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
