So for next direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28165 Possible Causes:
28165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28165 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
