Diameter in engine relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of instrument cluster also exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low will delay your vw fault. |
28161 Possible Causes:
28161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28161 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle control: airflow at idle too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
