When you open valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses or transmission control unit relay, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28158 Possible Causes:
28158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28158 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
