The problem is about ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation and ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
28157 Possible Causes:
28157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28157 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
