When you open intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached and glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28146 Possible Causes:
28146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28146 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
