28140 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine injector control pressure, too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance and wait then transmission mount valve 2 (n263), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28140 Possible Causes:
28140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28140 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
