This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission range display, circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 internal resistance too largely or 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
28131 Possible Causes:
28131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28131 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
