This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open and relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
28128 Possible Causes:
28128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28128 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
