This something to do with the intake camshaft timing powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on or 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
28122 Possible Causes:
28122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28122 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
