This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance or glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28120 Possible Causes:
28120 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28120 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
