This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
28105 Possible Causes:
28105 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28105 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
