28103 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed and please check dtc memory of engine ecu is the final reason of the code. |
28103 Possible Causes:
28103 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28103 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
