The problem is about ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
28100 Possible Causes:
28100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28100 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
