When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data bus powertrain, implausible message of the control module central electrics or change park/neutral switch input circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28100 Possible Causes:
28100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28100 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
