The problem is about injector control pressure sensor, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed also relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
28098 Possible Causes:
28098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28098 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
