28096 Possible Causes:
28096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28096 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
