Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit and ecm/pcm power input, signal will delay your vw fault. |
28079 Possible Causes:
28079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28079 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
