Accumulated in electronic control units so automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges or ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28079 Possible Causes:
28079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28079 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
