The problem is about injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and wait then ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28072 Possible Causes:
28072 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28072 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
