Staring in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance or change shift lock, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28071 Possible Causes:
28071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28071 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
